Pet Friendly Suite

The Penny House Inn welcomes your pet along with your family in our Penny Wise Suite.  This suite is on the first floor of the Carriage House and has a private entrance along with a patio.  This room has pergo flooring and are arranged as 2-room suites with a door between the two rooms.  The bedroom has a king bed, 1/2 bath and 2 person jacuzzi tub along with a TV/VCR/DVD player, AC (fireplace in the cooler months) and closet, the sitting room in front has two built in twin day beds along with a mini-fridge, full bath with large shower, TV/VCR, AC and closet.  

A few rules regarding pets…
We accept dogs under 30lbs. If you plan to leave your pet in the room alone while you are out, you must crate your pet. Please leave a cell phone number so we can contact you if your pet is getting lonely and ‘asking’ for you.  Please bring your own pet bedding so that he/she is more at home during your stay.  Even the best of dogs, in unfamiliar locations, can act unpredictably.  We will leave you a dog bowl and a water dish in the room.  Please be sure to pick up after your dog, we have left plastic baggies and there is a trash barrel outside to dispose of waste. There is a $50 pet charge per stay plus a damage deposit of $100 that is refundable upon checkout.

The Beaches: 
The Cape Cod National Seashore permits pets on the beach year round.  During the summer season, pet owners must leash their pets and take them outside the lifeguard areas and beyond posted seasonal bird-nesting areas.  Leashed pets are permitted on the Head of the Meadow Bicycle Trail in Truro year round and the Province Lands Bicycle Trail from November 1st through April 30th. 
           
The Cape Cod Bay side beaches in Eastham permit pets between Labor Day (1st Monday in September) and June 15th.  There is a year-round early morning dog beach at Rock Harbor Beach for those who want some canine companions. 

If you find that you have an extended day activity that your pet can not attend with you, Nauset Kennels offers overnight and day care.

Please visit The Cape Cod Dog in the Mercantile Plaza, Eastham.  They have all kinds of foods, treats, and fun toys. 

Mid-June until Mid September Fireplaces are not available due to the heat of the summer.

This large suite is secluded on the first floor of the Carriage house with tall 10 ft ceilings. The room opens into a sitting room with a built in sofa daybeds perfect for 2 extra guests, 2 windows overlooking the side patio, TV/VCR, phone, bar fridge, coffeemaker, ceiling fan & AC. The large bathroom with oversized shower is also located off this room. In the bedroom, to your left, is a large 2 person Jacuzzi tub, tucked away in the corner looking at the fireplace with a King size 4-poster bed canopy bed, large 1/2 bath, AC, ceiling fan, 2 windows which overlook the side, TV/VCR + DVD & phone. The room is decorated in browns, bronze and beige-earthtones with a pottery barn feel.
